School Football Questions & Answers

SISFL is an international school football competition platform serving schools in Shenzhen and the Greater Bay Area of China. It begins with 5-a-side football for international and bilingual schools.

SISFL is the platform’s brand name. Its public descriptor is International Schools 5-a-Side Football League.

SISFL initially focuses on 5-a-side school football. Final competition rules will specify playing time, squad size and substitutions; a futsal rulebook has not been confirmed.

International and bilingual school teams can enquire. An authorised adult school representative should register interest; final school and player eligibility will be confirmed for each competition.

SISFL’s initial focus is Shenzhen, with a wider Greater Bay Area vision. Other city divisions have not been announced.

Shenzhen is SISFL’s starting point. The first competition is being planned; dates and venues have not yet been announced. Schools can register interest now.

Hong Kong schools are welcome to enquire about future participation. No Hong Kong competition or cross-border match arrangements are confirmed.

U8, U10, U12 and U14 are planned groups. Age cut-off dates and eligibility checks remain to be confirmed; these categories are not final.

An authorised adult can complete the school interest form with contact details, preferred age groups and estimated teams. A saved reference confirms receipt of the enquiry, not a competition place.

Confirmed competition calendars will be published in the match centre with dates, kick-off times, venues and match status. No official fixtures have been announced yet.

Match venues are not yet confirmed. Each competition page will publish its confirmed venue, address and arrival instructions before match days.

Final competition regulations are still being developed. The Draft Competition Framework lists the eligibility, match rules, discipline and appeals arrangements that must be settled before entry.

School supervision, guardian permissions, photography consent and reporting contacts must be specified in the final event plan. These arrangements are currently a draft framework. Do not send children’s personal or medical details through the interest form.

SISFL is primarily a school competition platform rather than a football academy. The website focuses on school entry, competitions, fixtures, results and competition standards.
